Protester Support Legal Resource Guide: Home

Local support organizations, bail funds, advice for protestors, social justice organizations. Much of this guide comes from American University's Resources for Supporting Protesters, used with permission

Introduction

undefinedAs protests continue around the country it is important that those who wish to participate do so with the proper information. The University of Akron School of Law library has compiled a list of resources that those wishing to protest can use to do so lawfully and safely.

Much of this guide comes from American University's Resources for Supporting Protesters, used with permission. American University's guide contains many other resources, including advice for protestors, "Know Your Rights" guides, petitions, social justice organizations, and a list of organizations that may be able to help with bail should someone find themselves arrested.
